Why We Gather

Unlearning isn’t something we do alone. It happens when we come together to witness, reflect, and practice new ways of being — for ourselves, with each other, and inside the systems we live in.

This is the heartbeat of the Steps to Unlearning community: a place to pause, connect, and co-create.

Whether you drop into a weekly Lab, join a reflection practice, or take a deep dive in a seasonal Circle, you belong here.

Drop-In Practice (Weekly)

Length: 30 minutes

📅 Frequency: Weekly on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. ET (Check your local time )

A gentle invitation to pause in the middle of your week. These sessions are designed to be lightweight yet grounding: no prep, no pressure, just space to show up as you are.

Each week, we:

  • Choose a Reflection Card together to spark inquiry

  • Take a few minutes to quietly reflect on the prompt

  • Optionally share insights, feelings, or connections with the group

Think of it as a “mini reset” — a chance to step out of autopilot, reconnect with yourself, and practice unlearning in small, doable steps.

Come as often as you’d like — drop in once or make it a ritual.

The Unlearning Room (Monthly)

Length: 60 minutes

📅 Frequency: Monthly on the Fourth Thursday of the Month at 1 p.m. ET (Check your local time )

Our community’s collective pause. Each month, we gather around a shared theme — like boundaries, resilience, or belonging — and explore what’s alive for us.

Less about doing. More about being with one another.

Upcoming Themes:

  • SeptemberUnlearning Control: Embracing Groundlessness

  • OctoberUnlearning Niceness: Reclaiming Boundaries + Voice

  • NovemberUnlearning Toxic Resilience: Letting Go of Survival Mode

  • DecemberUnlearning Hustle: Rewriting Productivity Culture

Four Ways to Join Us

The Unlearning Lab (Bi-Weekly)

Length: 60 minutes

📅 Frequency: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month (Every other week) at 4 p.m. ET (Check your local time →)

Step behind the curtain with us. The Lab is where we:

  • Share what we’re working on right now

  • Test emerging frameworks and practices

  • Invite your reflections and co-creation

This fall, the Lab is the heartbeat of our community — a bi-weekly rhythm where we practice unlearning together, shape ideas as they form, and collectively guide where this work goes next.

The Unlearning Lab is where we test, explore, and co-create.

Unlearning Circles (Quarterly)

Length: 90 minutes per session

📅 Frequency: Seasonal, 6-session cohorts -- Registration Opens Sept. 2nd!

Registration Opens: September 2

A guided, small-group journey through the Steps to Unlearning Framework. Together, we:

  • Map the stories we’ve inherited

  • Release patterns that no longer serve us

  • Practice new ways of belonging

Unlearning Circles are where we transform, integrate, and deepen. Space is limited to keep the groups intimate and connected.

Unlearning Circles are where we slow down, go deep, and make the changes that last.
